Waves get to a good size here on the north shore of Tortola. Warm clean water with the winter’s north swells makes for a surfer’s paradise. Above is a young lady surfing a wave in Apple Bay on February 16th, 2017, serenely gliding down the line.
Swell was from that nasty northeaster that hit the New York area couple days earlier. It was the one that dumped a foot of heavy wet snow on the area.
